Meet Kate

Apprentice Hair Artist

Hi! I'm Kate! I attended the Anthis Career Center for cosmetology during high school, and I got to be in the program for nearly two and a half years. During this time, I became super detail oriented, and I like to make sure everything is perfect before I consider myself finished. As someone who has had their fair share of hair flops, I never want you to feel that way <3

I highly value education, whether it be learning the newest hairstyles, or finding trendy new clothes. However, I like to keep my unfortunately frequent shopping habits eco friendly, so I'm a huge advocate for thrifting. I love bringing along my friends because I would rather be with them than alone for anything :) 

Because of how much I value my bonds with others, I'm a huge people pleaser. My goal is always to make you happy, and nothing is better than seeing your face light up when you see your hair at the end of a service. My favorite services to perform are highlights, balayage, and color of any sort. Changing up my hair color always gives me a confidence boost, and I want you to feel the same! 

I also love cracking jokes! I genuinely believe I can find humor in any situation, and I'm always determined to make others laugh. On a more serious note, one of my absolute favorite things about being a hairstylist is meeting and learning about new people. If there's one thing I enjoy even more than talking, it's listening. 

Outside of work, you'll probably see me testing out all of the local coffee shops. I can't ever seem to get quite enough caffeine... and believe me I've tried! During the summertime, I like to soak up the sun by going to the pool as frequently as I can. But really, there's nowhere I'd rather be than the beach (except with my puppy).
