Junior Hair Artist

Hi ladies, I'm Kate! I attended the Anthis Career Center for cosmetology during high school and started working at The Red Stiletto as soon as I graduated. During school and job training, I became super detail oriented, and I like to make sure everything is perfect before I consider myself finished. As someone who has had my own share of unfortunate hair flops, I never want you to feel that way. I want you to absolutely love your hair every time you leave the salon <3

I highly value education and staying on top of trends and what's new! Whether it's the latest hair color craze or the fun new clothing trends, I do my best to keep up. However, I like to stay eco and budget friendly so I'm a huge advocate for thrifting! I love bringing my friends along with me and making a day of it.

Even though I do enjoy some slow days by myself, I also really value my relationships and spending time with my favorite people. Because of how much I care about my bonds with others, I'm a huge people pleaser. My goal is always to make you happy, and nothing is better than seeing your face light up when you see your hair at the end of a service. My favorite services to perform are color corrections and extended color services, as well as highlights and color! As someone who loves to frequently change up my hair color and try new things, I love being able to provide you with that same confidence of a new look... all while maintaining the health of your hair. At The Red Stiletto, we only use natural styling products, and the most gentle colors and lighteners to make sure your hair looks and feels the best.

When you're in my chair, you'll notice I also love cracking jokes! I genuinely believe I can find humor in any situation, and I'm always determined to make others laugh. On a more serious note, one of my absolute favorite things about being a hairstylist is meeting and learning about all of you. If there's one thing I enjoy even more than talking, it's listening. 

Outside of the salon, you might see me checking out the local coffee shops. I'm a caffeine lover, and trying a new place is my favorite thing to do before I run errands or hit the thrift! During the summer, I spend my Sundays on the lake tanning and swimming, but at heart I'm a beach girl.
