Hi! My name is Liv! I am so happy to have you here.
I grew up in Noble County and I have spent most of my life there. Since starting in the salon, I have loved every minute being behind the chair and wouldn’t trade it for anything! I am always there to be your shoulder to cry on, someone you can rant to and get advice from, or even someone to just be there to listen to anything you have going on! The biggest thing is I would never let you leave the salon with hair that I wouldn’t be happy with having on my own head. I am always willing to make any tweaks or changes to make sure you love your hair!!
In the past, when I was a guest at other salons, I was ignored and ended up just leaving with whatever the stylist wanted and not what I wanted. I never want you to feel like this and always want to do what YOU want done. When you sit in my chair, one of the most important things to me is listening to you and what you want.
Before I was a hairstylist, I was always scared to tell my stylist when I wasn’t happy with something, so I would just stay silent. I want you to know that no matter what, you can always tell me if you’re not loving something! I will always be more than happy to change it, so you leave loving everything!
While at the Red Stiletto, I have already been able to take so many beneficial classes!! I have also graduated the apprenticeship program, which has been so beneficial in growing my career.
Since I was a little girl I’ve been obsessed with all things girly. This ranged from hair and makeup, to being obsessed with all things pink and sparkly. I always knew I wanted to go into cosmetology, but it wasn’t something that I did right out of high-school. I always thought that going to college was something that I had to do. So after I graduated high school, that was exactly what I did. The whole time I was in college my plan was to go to cosmetology school after I got my degree.
After two full years in college I was feeling so overwhelmed and lost. It was during this that I realized I don’t need to continue to go to college to be successful. After my sophomore year in college I decided to drop out and enroll in cosmetology school.
While I was here the time flew by and I made some of the best friends that I have ever had. I was super scared going in because I had heard so many negatives about cosmetologists, but that couldn’t have been more wrong. From my friends in school to all of my lovely coworkers at the Red Stiletto they have proven this assumption to be completely wrong!
When I am not the salon I spend most of my time with my fiancé. We have been together for almost seven years and we are getting married this summer! I love to spend my free time getting my nails done, trying out new makeup, and also trying new hair products!
I absolutely love lived in color, dimensional color, and any type of blonding, but I am always down for any type of service! Make sure to check out my instagram and follow me, so we can connect. You can book online or message me with with any questions you have and we can get your appointment set! I can’t wait to create the most beautiful hair for you!
