Hello besties! My name is Carolyn. I have absolutely loved immersing myself into all things beauty since I can remember. It all started with stealing makeup from my mom’s bag, or waking up at 5am as a request of my little sister to do her eyeshadow, and doing all my friends’ for prom and semi-formal. I just loved being creative and the enhanced confidence it could bring. 

While I was obsessed with makeup, I actually went to school to become an esthetician. Little did I know I would fall in love with all things skin, as well. But, I guess they are connected right? Better skin, better makeup application? Best of both worlds! 

As someone who has lacked confidence in their skin and tried to resolve those feelings by self-diagnosing my skin and just using whatever was the most popular product, I understand how important it is to find the right solutions. I learned very quickly in school that I was doing more harm than good, and after the proper education my skin transformed, which led to my mission to help women age beautifully and glow effortlessly. Because, I too, want to have healthy skin in all years of my life. 

Working in a salon that uses all clean ingredient based products is super important to me. I have been diagnosed with many reproductive health issues and made a huge switch to cut many toxic things out of my life, including hair and skin. I am a huge advocate that many products on the market really affect women’s health and I’m all about educating my guests not only on how to make healthier swaps for their skin, but healthier swaps on everyday things in their lives, as well. 

While many makeup artists just target brides, this has made me want to become a well-rounded specialist to not only create beautiful soft glam looks and healthier skin for brides, but for their moms too. I believe everyone deserves to look and feel their best on such a special day. By focusing both on the bride and her loved ones, I aim to create timeless looks that create confidence for all generations! 

When I am not in the salon, I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby boy, hiking and being outdoors, or cuddling with my corgis on the couch watching my favorite shows (Gilmore Girls is definitely the best!) I am also the biggest Potterhead you’ll ever meet.
