Hey y’all! I’m Lexy. I am a Licensed Cosmetologist and Extension Specialist. My main focus/specialties are highlighting services and hand-tied extensions. Personally, it all is very satisfying. I always love the before and after transformation. Making my guests happy is my number one priority.

Aside from my technical skills, the real important thing when you come sit in my chair at The Red Stiletto is YOUR guest experience. Especially if this is your first time visiting! I want to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be. When you step foot into the salon, my attention goes to you and how I can make you happy.  

Guest experience is so important to me because I know what it is like to feel uncomfortable in a new setting and new atmosphere. Not only do I want you to be comfortable, I also want to build trust with each other. I believe that the stylist/client relationship is very important. As your hair artist, I want you to leave your very first visit feeling your best, looking and feeling more confident, and loving your hair!

I am always educating myself on new and improved techniques to ensure that your hair will reach your end goal. What sets me apart from other stylists is I am very challenge oriented. No two guests will get the exact same look, as I am always finding new ways to tailor to your desired outcome. I absolutely love when guests show Pinterest pictures; they give a goal, an idea, and a visual. I like being able to break down the picture together and come up with our own “Pinterest picture outcome”. Being able to take an inspiration picture and putting my own creation and twist to it is what makes the connection between us stronger.

When I’m not at the salon, I am usually at home with my fur babies and farm animals. My doggos are my children and they really keep me busy. Ruger is my big fluffy boy, he is a red heeler, and Oaklee Mae is my little baby girl. She is a blue heeler and still a cute baby puppy. I live in a small town outside of Fort Wayne and I couldn’t be happier. It’s peaceful. I love soaking up the fresh air, sun, and the smell of crops. The sunsets are beyond beautiful in the fields. If I am craving a lazy day, I usually will cuddle up on the couch and catch up on whatever Netflix series I want to watch that day! I have really been into watching Manifest, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy (always good to rewatch) and Shameless.
