Hi! I’m Emily. I am proud to say I was born and raised right here in Fort Wayne.
As a busy mom, the small moments I am able to give to myself are important and I know they’re important for you too. In my chair you can do just that, whether that means a quiet place to hear yourself think or the time to dish about the latest tea.
I’ve been a stylist for 15 years and grew to love my business even more when I decided to become an educator in 2018. Educating myself in the industry sets my soul on fire to do exactly what I love, so I never feel like I am at work, but get to play and create new art every day. I have had the opportunity, because of this, to grow other stylists in their love for the industry and in their own salons. I am the lead trainer at The Red Stiletto, which means all of my guests get a real celebrity experience by having not just me, but my amazing assistant work with you as well, to complete your look personalized look. 2 is always better than 1 I say!
A philosophy I stand for is that you should do whatever makes your inner self happy. Don’t rely on the social norms or trends to dictate your personal style. If long hair makes you happy, grow it girl! If short hair makes you feel powerful, you bet I will support you!
My specialties include natural lived-in color with added dimension and I enjoy giving my guests the outward confidence that radiates from within. I pride myself in creating a plan to achieve all your hair goals and to set you up for success with at-home hair care. Even though I enjoy consistency, I attend as many trainings as my schedule allows to ensure we keep up with the hottest trends and never fall into a rut.
After a weekend of making brides look amazing for their big day, I love to let my hair down. You will usually find me with family and friends on a boat, cooking a meal together, or playing the best new board game.
